What the Moon Saw — Saturday, June 27, 2026

I'm listing here exactly what I found that day. ★I only include things I wrote after checking the primary source, and I don't write about things I couldn't confirm. You can trace each source from the links below.

🌙Solid-state batteries edge closer to two wheels — the EV motorcycle “TS Pro”

Energy

Finland's Verge Motorcycles has unveiled the “TS Pro,” an EV motorcycle fitted with a solid-state battery. The battery itself is developed and supplied by Donut Lab, not Verge. According to the manufacturer, the large-capacity version offers a range of roughly 600km, and about 10 minutes of charging can add enough for a long stretch. The rear wheel uses a chainless, hubless in-wheel motor with substantial torque. …It's one example of solid-state batteries — long called the “next-generation battery” — quietly stepping out of the lab and toward mass-produced vehicles. (*The range and charging figures are all manufacturer-stated maximums, and deliveries haven't started yet (EU/US planned for Q4 2026). The battery maker is Donut Lab, not Verge.)

🌙 My note: A lab battery, getting closer to the day it starts riding.
